Psychedelic Therapy

What is Psychedelic Therapy and what are the benefits:

Psychedelic therapy is a novel and evolving approach that uses hallucinogenic substances, such as psilocybin, MDMA, or cannabis, in conjunction with psychotherapy to address various mental health issues and promote personal growth. Psychedelics can induce altered states of consciousness that allow you to access deep and often hidden thoughts and emotions. This can lead to profound insights into your own psyche, helping you better understand the root causes of your mental health issues or personal challenges.

Properly done, psychedelic therapy is particularly effective in addressing conditions like depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and anxiety. It can help you process and heal from past traumas or unresolved emotional wounds, providing relief from symptoms and enhancing emotional well-being.

Many individuals report feeling a greater sense of interconnectedness to nature, other people, and their own spirituality, which can lead to a greater sense of purpose and meaning. Many experience increased creativity and problem-solving abilities during and after psychedelic experiences. In this state they are better able to confront and overcome fears and anxieties, whether they’re related to specific phobias, existential concerns, or general life anxieties.

Psychedelic therapy shows promise in helping many individuals, but it may not be suitable for everyone. It is essential to consider your individual needs and circumstances when exploring this therapeutic approach.

What sets me apart from other therapists?  My unique ability to teach my clients the emotions skills and tools of positive mind management.  My clients don’t just leave feeling healthier, happier and whole; they come away with tools that teach them to improve their mental, emotional, and physical health all at the speed of thought.

A few of my specialties are how to desensitize negative emotions, memories and addictions; turn down images that cause PTSD, pornography and sex addiction; How to increase or turn up desired emotions, behaviors, images and memories that create lasting happiness, improved relationships and self-esteem.  I get to the root belief system that created the undesired thought or behavior and reprogram the subconscious mind with empowering thoughts and beliefs.

The Benefits of Microdosing Psilocybin Mushrooms:

A psilocybin microdosing protocol not only helps individuals address and treat mental health concerns such as anxiety, depresion, PTSD and ADHD; but can also be beneficial to anyone seeking to integrate a higher level of awareness into their lives. It allows users to observe the world from a more empathic perspective, and assists in our personal healing journeys by reframing our conditioned states of existence.

We should note because psychedelics are known as ‘non-specific amplifiers’ the benefits you experience are highly dependent on your individual physiology. Meaning that what becomes unveiled throughout your microdosing journey will be specific to your brain chemistry and personal life circumstances.

Microdosing has been reported to improve focus and concentration, indicating potential efficacy in the management of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). It’s also been attributed to enhancements of creativity, critical thinking skills, motivation, and mental resilience in typically stress-inducing conditions.

Anecdotal evidence supporting the practice of microdosing mushrooms for mental health improvement has demonstrated reduced anxiety levels and very positive effects on people struggling with post-traumatic stress disorder, treatment resistant depression or any major depressive disorder.

In a 2019 study conducted by Vince Polito and Richard J. Stevenson, researchers collected the baseline measures of 93 participants. Participants were instructed to follow Fadiman’s protocol and submit daily reports. 47.1% of the daily reports were made by participants microdosing psilocybin.  The study found a clinically significant increase (p<.05) in measures of connectedness, contemplation, creativity, focus, happiness, productivity, and wellbeing. Long term measures were taken after 6 weeks of microdosing. Clinically significant reductions in depression, stress, and mind wandering were sustained.

Many people who are in the process of tapering off of their SSRIs or antidepressants, find immense value in adopting a microdosing regimen. This is because psychedelics can buffer the discontinuation side effects of these pharmaceutical medications by maintaining and later increasing our serotonin levels as the antidepressants continue to clear from our system.

What clients are saying

After 2 sessions, my daughter was back to enjoying her life again
For anyone out there suffering from depression and anxiety, I cannot recommend enough working with Kristie. My daughter has struggled with depression most of her life. She had been on antidepressants for many years and they just didn't seem to work. I read some information about psychedelic therapy and thought we would give it a try. Kristie is well informed. She was all about safety and even worked closely with our doctor. After 2 sessions, my daughter was back to enjoying her life again. To see her smiling and happy was the best gift I could have asked for.

I was impressed how well it worked and has continued to work
Kristie's approach to therapy is refreshing. Honest, straightforward and like she is your best friend. I went through a rough breakup and was suffering with PTSD. I was having thoughts of suicide and feeling hopeless. My doctor worked with Kristie on some cases and suggested I do psychedelic therapy. I was impressed how well it worked and has continued to work. I am currently in a relationship and feel more confident than I have in a long time. I would like to do more of this therapy.

I am forever changed
Shrooms have my vote! Totally different experience doing this therapy with Kristie in the setting she provides. I was looking for deeper connection with myself. Whoa man! Best trip ever!! I am forever changed and I can't unsee what I now understand about myself and how I fit in the universe. I WILL be doing many more.

Kristie is trustworthy and knows her craft
I have served in the Marines, special ops for over 20 years. It can mess with your mind. Over time it has taken its toll on my relationships. My wife suggested I try psychedelic therapy. After the first session my kids noticed I was more open and relaxed. My wife feels like I am connecting more with her. Kristie was great. I trust her, which is saying a lot coming from me. I plan on doing several more sessions. I also started microdosing. That alone has made a big difference in my ability to relax and stay connected to my family and friends. I recommend Kristie. She is trustworthy and knows her craft. Thank you Kristie

Quality of life has improved substantially
I cant recommend Kristie and her team enough for psychedelic therapy. I am a retired police officer. Suffered with PTSD, anxiety and depression for over 30years. I have now done 5 sessions. Quality of life has improved substantially. I have also been microdosing. My psychiatrist has me down to only one medication now from four. Big difference. No side effects and so far the results appear to be permanent. There is hope.

It works. I now tell all my friends
I am an alcoholic. Have been for over a decade. I gave up hope that anything would help. My mom suggested I work with Kristie. We did several sessions of hypnotherapy. Started microdosing psilocybin and did 4 psychedelic therapy sessions. To be perfectly frank, God sent me an angel. I have not had one drop of alcohol in over 7 months and counting. The thought of drinking again disgusts me and I have no desire to ever go back to that life. It works. I now tell all my friends.
